Dr. DVD 09-13-04 01:30 PM

Got the day off on the 21st because I am working that weekend. Will be able to enjoy all the SW goodness the day it is out! :D

MJKTool 09-13-04 01:37 PM

I'll watch that documentary first & maybe some of the featurettes. Then I'll watch the movies whenever I get a chance to. I'm in no rush.

RockStrongo 09-13-04 02:01 PM

On my Samsung 61in DLP tv.

Can't wait!

Get Me Coffee 09-13-04 03:17 PM

First I'll keep it real...then watch ep 4, 5, 6http://www.muzikmixx.com/starwars/obidies1.jpg

OldBoy 09-14-04 04:00 PM

I'm glad I didn't watch the special on A&E..that woud spoil the fun, plus on DVD it is widescreen.
Will prob watch all 3 b-t-b-t-b!! though not necessarily on the same day.

well, it still wouldn't even come close to the glory of DVD for which it is uncut and the glory watching after the 3 classics of modern cinema!

To their credit, the Sith have an excellent cafeteria plan.

That fat fuck vader ;) Looks to me that he ate a few ewoks

slop101 09-14-04 05:51 PM

I just got mine today :)

I'm just gonna flip through each movie and just watch my favorite scenes from all three for a couple of hours tonight until I have to go to sleep. I'll most likely watch some of the extras tomorrow.

ditto.

JoeyOhhhh 09-14-04 06:43 PM

Just watched ANH and ESB back to back. I'll go through some of the bonus disc tonight.

Will catch ROTJ tomorrow and watch the documentary.

OldBoy 09-14-04 08:08 PM

Guys who got it...where did you get it from??

MJG87 09-14-04 09:11 PM

Lots of people got it on TRL today, wonder if they were givin out the foolscreens

Rod Thorn 09-14-04 09:23 PM

Sure. Crank it out in one marathon. One question as it pertains to the media day review.

One interesting question raised by an audience member touched on the absence of deleted scenes from the bonus material. Ward commented that with so much material from the Star Wars archives, they simply had to pick and choose what to fit on the disc. He then went on to imply that at least some material from the archives was being saved for later releases of the set on later formats like HD-DVD.
Double dip on this one? Got mine but I'd rather not double dip on matter of principle.

digitalfreaknyc 09-14-04 09:37 PM

Well...this is how I watched it...

Bloopers
Documentary
Star Wars
rest of the extras
Empire
Jedi

JoeyOhhhh 09-14-04 09:40 PM

The easter egg was pretty neat, I especially love the part when
Spoiler:
Boba Fett gives chase to Wickett the Ewok

Slowpc 09-14-04 10:07 PM

Prob going to watch it in the same order as DFNY did. Looks to be the best order for me. Maybe scan through the documentary since i saw it on A&E.

marty888 09-14-04 10:33 PM

I'll probably spend a few evenings seeing if I can get any of my Pink Floyd albums to sync up with one of them.

Grolim 09-14-04 11:14 PM

I'll watch all 3 in a row and the the doc. Same day of course!

Exactly. And I can't wait to do it either. Good times.

wolverine1028 09-14-04 11:45 PM

3 movies on 3 nights.

:D

El-Kabong 09-15-04 01:17 AM

We start our day bright and early, with a trip to Costco. After a brief stopover, we hurry back to the abode and fire up the home theater, starting, of course with Phantom Menace, then onto Attack of the Clones. We then move into the computer for a screening of all 15 parts to the Clone Wars (then lament that Sith is not out yet).

A brief break for lunch, then Star Wars, followed by my copy of The Holiday Special and Hardware Wars. On to Empire and Jedi, wrapping up the day with the two Ewok movies.

That should take all day, just about.

that's quite a day of SW entertainment! http://ruinsmiley.tripod.com/MyStarW.../gBOBAFETT.gif http://ruinsmiley.tripod.com/MyStarW...iles/jabba.gif http://ruinsmiley.tripod.com/MyStarW...les/greedo.gif http://ruinsmiley.tripod.com/MyStarW...smileyjedi.gif

Honestly, Star wars has been pushed to the backburner a little bit. I suppose when I get some extra money, I might pick it up, but really, I have so many other releases that I want (or that I haven't gotten yet), that I think I'll probably wait on this one.

Besides, I just don't have the time to watch them right now, so it's probably for the best anyway...
