Fay Wray classic movies
Now that Fay Wray has died, perhaps Warner Bros will be releasing Doctor X and Mystery of The Wax Museum as a double bill (I know that "Mystery" is already available on DVD with House of Wax ) on DVD?
And when will a Special Edition of the original and glorious King Kong finally be hitting our DVD players?? It's long overdue and I cannot understand why whoever currently owns the rights has dragged their feet over the restoration of this true classic and missed the 2003 70th Anniversary opportunity, unless it's due to the Peter Jackson remake in the works??

IMHO the Region 2 edition is poor, the remastering is nothing special , and the colorized documentary sucks.
Don't bother with it wait until the current copyright owners (whover they may be??) release the long hoped for Special Edition with hopefully a Gone With The Wind style revamp! It's wonderful what can be done with these old classics if enough time and attention are lavised upon them!! They can often look better than they did originally!!

Hello Marty!
I just bought the great Criterion Great Adaptations set which has three of my favourite movies on it plus this film which I've never yet seen!

We should be getting a special edition of King Kong from Warner Bros in 2005.
Fay Wray films now available on DVD:
The Most Dangerous Game - avoid p.d. releases, get the Criterion
The Vampire Bat - unfortunately only p.d. releases out there of this one
Mystery of the Wax Museum - paired with its remake on Warner's House of Wax release
Adam Had Four Sons - from Columbia Tristar
Crime of Passion - from MGM
Also, Sinister Cinema has got Navy Secrets available on DVD-R.
(I attended Fay's memorial service this past Sunday in LA. Very nice it was.)
