Rounders SE

With this new release, is there any change in picture/audio quality, or is it just new extras?

I couldn't find anything definitive.

Thanks

The movie is available now. Go to a 24 hour Wal-Mart and pick it up!

Great improvement on the video. I was quite surprised. Some of the extras are fun as well.

Although there were some long pauses, the poker professionals commentary was pretty entertaining.

I dumped my original release for $12 when the SE was announced.

Definitely worth the upgrade.

I agree. I watched some of it tonight and the transfer was excellent. I wish it had included some deleted scenes though, since the trailer shows quite a few moments that didn't end up in the final cut.

And speaking of which, this SE DVD loses the trailer that the previous bare bones disc included(ironic, ain't it?). Although it's available on the Canadian Good Will Hunting DVD, so I'm technically not giving that up by upgrading. ;)

Just finished it. I really don't watch extras, so I cannot comment. However, it is definitely worth the upgrade solely on an anamorphic picture.

I got about $12 for mine on Ebay. Who are the poker professionals on the commentary, and are there any other poker-related bonus features on the disk?

Just watched with the commentary by the professional poker players. It was unique, I really liked the way they broke down all of the poker in the movie.

4 Pros, not sure of the spelling of their names:

Phil Helmuth (most of the talking as one would expect)
Johnny Chan
Chris Moneymaker
Chris Ferguson (very little talking)

Other features include:

- Audio Commentaries 1. John Dahl Director, David Levin Screenwriter, Brian Koppelman Screenwriter, Edward Norton Star
- Professional Poker Players
- Behind The Scenes
- Tips From Champion Poker Players

- Interactive Games
1. Heads Up Texas Hold 'Em
2. How To Play Poker

Just checking to see if they've done some new Director's Cut. Maybe that would make it a good film?
