DVD Talk Legend
This was originally broadcast by Showtime, and unfortuantely they aren't as aggressive or consistent in releasing their movies on DVD as HBO.
Considering that the cast includes three of the all-time great movie actors (George C.Scott, Jack Lemmon, Hume Cronyn) along with other powerhouse actors such as Ossie Davis and a pre-Sopranos James Gandolfini , and that it was directed by William Friedkin, it's a mystery why this isn't available.

Marty888 is right on with his assessment. This is a great film and can't believe its not out on DVD. All the actors in this movie are in perfect form. Scott's performance is outstanding as is most of the cast.

I'd love to see both of them again. 12 Angry Men and Inherit the Wind are probabley the two best re-makes I've ever seen, that I enjoyed as much as the original. Jack Lemmon was grand in the Spencer Tracy role in ITW.

Don't forget another powerhouse preformance by Tony Danza!
I didn't know that was directed by William Friedkin. Cool.

My mom was wanting to rent this from Netflix but they didn't have it. She's ready to buy it as soon as it comes out. Guess that might be a few more years, eh?
