Are You Afraid Of The Dark ever coming on DVD????

This might have been a previous topic but does anyone know anything about a possible

Are You Afraid of the Dark DVD release I loved this show when i was young and along with Monster Squad its probly my most wanted DVD. Thanks

Probably not. I don't think Nick has ever released any of there live action shows from the late 80's/early 90's. That inlcudes Pet and Pete, Clarissa, Hey Dude, Wlcome Freshman.... Hopefully...but doubtfully we will ever see these on DVD.

HOWEVER, Some Afraid of the Darks were on VHS. It may be hard to track those down though.

It would be smart if Paramount released a 'Nickeolodeon Classics' DVD line, bringing out each of these old shows in volumes.

Shows I would want are:
-Hey Dude
-Salute Your Shorts
-The Adventures of Pete and Pete
-Are You Afraid of the Dark

What?! Where's the love for "Roundhouse"?!

you would be best to just buy a bootlegged set off of ebay. If you can find the one I made the quality is 10/10 digital.

I loved this show... a lot of the episodes really were great like...

The one where that girl gets X-ray glasses and sees other-dimensional people everywhere...

The theater/Nosferatu homage episode...

The onlu show that Nick ever produced, that needs to be on DVD is:

YOU CAN'T DO THAT ON TELEVISION

Case closed.

are you afraid of the dark was way too good for me to watch as a kid. i miss that show. my favourite episode was the librarian who steals people's voices. what about 'the secret world of alex mack'? i had a huge crush on her.

They need to release this and Eerie Indiana on DVD. I know Eerie is coming soon though!

I would pick up Pete and Pete, Salute Your Shorts, and Hey, Dude! in a heartbeat if they released these.

I'd like to see this, along with Monsters, and Tales from the Darkside on dvd. At least the 80's version of The New Twilight Zone will be released at the end of the year.

I quoted you, however, because I haven't heard of a release for Eerie, Indiana. I'd love to own this on dvd, also.

I know that it was barely released, and now it goes for over $200 on ebay. But has there been a release date set for this now? I guess I should check tvshowsondvd.com for info.

Eerie came out like 8 months ago...it was then canceled. It now looks like its coming out again in a couple months. There's a legnthy thread on this forum...i'm too lazy to look it up.
