The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp

Ok, apparently he's done a ton of commentaries. I'm done researching it.

Well for other peoples dvds he's done

Black Narcissus
The Red Shoes
The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp

He also did one for Warners Gun Crazy(Oops actually it was The Set-Up, my bust. Great movie either way)

Thanks for the reply.
Didn't he do The Set-Up for Warner's Film noir's collection?

Correct, along with director Robert Wise and it's super yummy.

WOW! I did not know that! I have BN and never listened to the commentary. Now another reason to go back and play it again.

(OK, I was tempted to add "Sam," to my "play it again" end, because it's a famous line but it was a big non sequitor.)

Martin is a madman in his commentaries. He talks at 100mph on the Gangs of New York commentary, mentioning all sorts of movies I've never heard of.

He's also done Criterion commentaries for his own Taxi Driver and Raging Bull... but these are only available on laserdisc.

Re: Martin Scorsese commentaries...

I just added a section on commentaries to Scorsese's filmography on Wikipedia. Please add any I may have missed!

I'm not allowed to post the URL here, but it's easy to find if you google "Scorsese filmography."

Re: Martin Scorsese commentaries...

I'm pretty sure the Criterion Commentary on Taxi Driver was a part of the bluray edition.
