I agree. I was iffy on a few things last year, but that finale sold me on everything. It was for sure the best imho, and I was quite impressed with the first season's as well.

Uh-oh ... November is shaping up to be a financial challenge, but this goes on the "must have" list.

(DDD better come through again with their coupon codes.)

I am looking forward to getting the Box Set, I missed about 5 or 6 shows during the season.

All I can say is that I was entertained during the season and that is all I care about.

Sweet! I hope DDD does have their 20% sale again around December, because I will just go off - and that's a good thing!

It was arguably its worst season, but the last third was really solid. And the finale was the best out of all 3 seasons IMO. All I know is I can't wait for Season 4, so that counts for something.

didn't see any of this season during its broadcast run, and i just finished up S2 yesterday (most of which i also missed the first time around).
it seems like a lot of fans seem to share a similar concensus about the third season of Smallville and the third season of Alias (which i also haven't seen).
but i'm still looking forward to both.

the last box season set i bought blind that came with a lot of negative buzz from fans was Buffy Season 6- and that ended up being one of the best seasons of TV i ever saw, so i just hope i'm once again outside the mainstream.

and yeah, Novemeber is looking to be packed

For those interested, you can check out the cover art and more specs at KRYPTONSITE.com

Looks like this will be a even better set than season 2!!

And as a Smallville fan, here is how I rank the seasons

SEASON 2
SEASON 1
SEASON 3

And I enjoyed them all, I hope the next 2 seasons are on the same par, and if not better!!!!

Looking forward to the set.

I really liked the third season for its darker, grittier tone. I didn't pay much attention to the recurring Clark wins/loses Lana routine since it was rather a small part of the overall story arc. But yes, that needs a rest next season.

Last season was great at showing the extent of Lionel's evilness, Clark going on a red Kryptonite binge since doesn't accept the destiny that awaits him, and more insight of Lex's character and the choices and situations he goes through that will ultimately become his undoing.

I liked Season 3.

Not the best, but it had its moments and Ian Somerhalder did a cool job.

I realize I'm bumping an old thread, but I bought S3 several months ago and finally got around to watching some of it.

But, for the life of me, I cannot find the Deleted Scenes for "Exile" and "Slumber" that the booklet claims are on Disc 1. Am I just retarded? Are these items missing?

I still haven't picked up this set and can't find it anywhere. I find copies of S1, S2, and S4 but not S3. Is it out of print?
