I can't believe there aren't any threads about the ROLLER BOOGIE DVD!

Isn't anyone else excited about the upcoming release of this 80's classic?!! I preorderd this a month ago and am hoping it arrives at the same time as my NICK AND JESSICA VARIETY HOUR DVD.

I'm stunned by the apathy here. I really am. Moviewatchers these days have no real appreciation for the classics of yesteryear.

With all the instant classics we've got coming out now like Catwoman and Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid, who has the time?!

Ah yes, the golden age of movies, the 80s... Where classics are classy.

i was a fan of the movie when i was a kid- i actually sa it at the theater a few times, and i still may have the LPs up in the attic.

i was really excited when it finally got a VHS release in the late 80s/early 90s...but boy was it cringe inducing to watch.
Brays shorts alone were painful to look at .
but i always had a big crush on Blair, and i too have this on pre-order now.

i'm actually excited at the prospect of seeing it again, but i think afterwards i'll have pretty much the same reaction i did about 10 yrs back.

in the meantime, i have to make some shelf space next to Xanadu...
