floating heads on the cover art
I would like to thank the idiot who thought these would be a great way to market the discs.
seriously though, I would like some music vids and some bloopers and such.

Trailers. So many great trailers, bt they are never given their proper due. And of course, I am referring to a special feature, not a compilation of trailers.

Simple menus.
I like that when I throw Magnolia or a Criterion DVD player into the player, it goes right to a menu that asks me to watch the movie or pick a feature. I hate these elaborate menus that show clips from the movie or something fancy for a minute and a half. It's a big waste of my time.

Radiohead in concert, what's the holdup? The best band of the last 10 years and notta. Queen has about 4 or 5, who knows why.
Bjork has ten gagillian DVD's.
Radiohead people, come on snap out of it!

1. Innovative use of DVD technology for purposes such as language instruction, DVD magazines, travel guides, how-to guides, etc.
2. Isolated DTS soundtracks (as extras)
3. Prewar Japanese films
4. Non-English television series (with English subs)

I also agree with Crocker Jarmen regarding simple menus. If you've never seen the movie, half the time the menu clips ruin some of the best scenes.

I really like the Warner Night at the Movies concept where you get a newsreal, a couple of shorts, a cartoon and the main feature. We definitely need more concept DVDs like that with classic films.
