Good idea. I ordered the set (even though I would rather see a review...but I'd never be able to wait). At least I know something is on it's way some day. The shows aren't released fast enough for my taste.
Great idea for the Manos discs...though I bet they ask for more. One is not enough. The new collection should be up for preorder soon. The sale date is Sept. 21st. |
Mine came in the mail today (ordered 8/6). The case is a standard size keep case with a hub on each side for the two discs - the "shorts #3" bonus disc was in a paper case inside the keepcase. The bonus disc (along with the insert) is just floating around loose in there, so don't panic if you hear the dreaded "rattle" when you take it out of you mailbox.

I still haven't gotten charged for my order. Hopefully it won't take too much longer for Rhino to catch up on the orders.

They're now selling, through that same site, an MST3K DVD club membership. It looks as if it's just gonna be sending you each one which has already been released monthly, beginning with "Mitchell" ... but it might be something to keep an eye on, in case they wind up with exclusive stuff.

Got mine a couple days ago. Almost panicked when I didn't see the extra disc, but it was actually shrink-wrapped inside. Oddly it contains a chapter insert, but the 2 discs are on each flap so the insert just falls out.
It looks like a new pressing of Manos which worked out well for me. I previously tried 2 different discs and both would lock up on my player 3/4 of the way through. This new one played through no problem. |
So is the "Manos" on the 2 pack the same as the single disc from a couple of years ago? Hopefuly I can get rid of this old version without losing any extras and whatnot.

ok, so I took advantage of this deal and I also just ordered the 1st 3 boxsets. this will be all I currently have. other than the 2 other box sets and #6 which is coming out soon, what other discs do I need to have the complete DVD set?
