From DavisDVD:
Warner Home Video's Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will be released on November 23rd, just in time for the holiday shopping season. The two-disc set will be available in separate 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen editions, each with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio tracks. Extras will include deleted footage, interviews (with author J.K. Rowling, cast members and the filmmakers) and, as usual, an overload of interactive games. Retail is set at $29.95. Stay tuned for more details later today. |
Excellent. Looking forward to this one.
|
Sweet. Although, this holiday shopping season will be very heavy on the wallet

Originally posted by taronga Fingers still crossed for a commentary track. Cuaron has said he dislikes them, but maybe they could wrangle up some of the kids. |
I enjoyed this movie as did my daughter. I'll be all over this one when it comes out. Thanks for the heads up.

Ugh - all the features look like silly little dvd-games for kids that have absolutely no substance and are the equvilant of repeatedly stabbing oneself in the genitals.
|

I'd rather they not include them on the disc altogether if they can't be bothered putting actual extras on  |
Originally posted by Kal-El ...since filming of Goblet overlapped with Azkaban, I'm not sure the cast has enough time to sit down and record it. |
Loved this in the theater. The actors were noticeably better in this outing of the series, I'll definitely be picking this up.
|
Man, I can't wait. November is a long ways away.
|
Great movie, my favorite of the series so far. That director has some serious talent, can't wait to see what he'll do next.
|
Azkaban is my favorite of the Harry Potter films thus far, and will gladly pick up the dvd. Now the third in the series it's great to see the actors really become stronger and grow into their characters.

Potential cover courtesy of Mugglenet.com.
It seems to be in a keepcase. So much for consistancy I guess, but not bad otherwise. |

God I hope not. That cover is terrible. Not that the others were that spectacular but they could do better than that.
