Indiana Jones released as a single dvd?

Do you think Paramount will release the Indy movies as single editions like they did with the Godfather?

I would think your best chance would be to get them at Blockbuster. I've seen all 3 movies sold in single editions, in their previewed section.

Doubtful. Why wouldn't you want all three?

I don't think so, but I agree why would you only want one. You need all 3.

I'm sure it will eventually happen. I could see it taking at least a couple of years though --- like Godfather.

I'm sure it will happen eventually, I don't know why everyone thinks it wouldn't. They said Godfather wouldn't either, now it has. Same thing with Star Wars, you'll be able to buy them separately easily a year or two from now probably.

I would check a store that sells used dvd's. A place near me has tons of copies of each film for sale in singles. Even the bonus disk. They run about $12-15 each depending on condition i guess.

I can't imagine anyone just wanting 1 since they're all fantastic movies.

I held off buying this because I only want Raiders. The other two are good, but rentals for me. Don't need to see them more than once every 5 years or so.

In the UK we have a magazine called Total Film, in it is a review of all of Speilbergs' films. In the review about Raiders it says about the shot-by-shot remake done by 3 freinds over 6 years ( the remake was mentioned on AICN). In it, it says Speilberg has seen it, met the guys, bought it and wants to put it on a Raiders... special edition.
Just what I read.

I read the same thing, and I do agree with the few who say these will eventually be released as individual titles (I think some of the people who say “no” so emphatically might be biased with a fear of possibly having to double dip), maybe even special editions. I owned the box set for a while, but the only disc that had real re-play value for me was Raiders. The Last Crusade was better than I remembered it, but Temple of Dome does not hold up at all, having grown up much since I saw it in the theaters like 7 times.
