Besides, Hulk Hogan will no doubt be in the new Classic Superstar series of action figures!! They MUST sign a deal!!

Also, he's supposed to be inducted in the Hall of Fame!

Wait, he's back with the WWE?????????????

Hulk Hogan = worst. "wrestler". ever.

"Wrestler," sure, let's emphasize that. Because we all know how real wrestling is, and how it's not about entertainment. I must've mistaken it with the Olympics! What was I thinking!!

On a scale of 1 to 10, Ric Flair is about as "entertaining" as a 2.... Hogan = 10.999.

No. He's not.

FYI Many not in the WWE are making it to the CS action figures.

Example: Bret and Warrior

This is just about the more insane statement ever written. Are you sure your name isn't troll2b?

Hogan is the greatest star in the history of Wrestling and he brought wrestling back from the dead not only once, in the 80's with the WWF but twice in the late 90's with the nWo. From the looks of things on Raw and Smackdown, it looks like we need him again.

Is Hogan the best technical wrestler ever? of course not, but unlike half the WWE rooster now, he's a real superstar, anytime he's on the screen it's exciting. I'd rather watch Hogan limp around the ring at 51yo anyday over the personality-void mind numbing boredom of guys like Edge, Randy Orton and Chris Benoit.

Defiinitely. Wrestling to me is pretty damn boring. The only time I didn't turn the channel immediately was when Hogan, Flair, or Andre The Giant were wrestling.

cruzness 08-15-04 08:52 PM

In recent developments the cities of Hollywood CA and Hollywood FL have teamed up to sue Hollywood Hogan over usage of Hollywood in Hogan's name during his time with the WCW. Representatives from both cities stated that they were tired of all the confusion. ;)

Some awesome news.

WWE have apparently cleared all hurdles for the use of "Hulk" Hogan.

"Hulk" Hogan (not Hollywood) will be inducted in the Hall of Fame.

AND he will most definitely be getting a new action figure in the Classic Superstar series line.

Rogue588 02-28-05 11:41 PM

Saw the promo tonight.

Guess he wants to shill for his daughter..

Since when has wrestling actually been about "wrestling"?

jpw908 03-01-05 01:09 PM

Hulk Hogan is the worst actor/wrestler/entertainer of all time. Ric Flair is the greatest wrestling villian of all time and is still the only reason to watch. Unfortunetely, from an entertainment perspective Ric Flair is willing to put over everyone else above his own character these days. We need the egomaniacal Ric Flair of the past.

I know its popular to hate the Hulkster NOW.......however it was a different story back in the 80's when everybody under the age of 13 was wearing their Hulk swag and crying Earthquake squashed the Hulkster lol

While Ric Flair was the greatest thing to ever happen to professional wrestling, hating on the Hulkster in a backlash response is silly. His value to the industry was tremendous, and he deserves significant amounts of credit. It's good to see this potential disaster was avoided and the man will get his due.

Earthquake and Tugboat. Best duo ever.

the Hulkster still rules. same can be said about that persona of his later in his career, Mr. America.

Whatever happened to that 6 disc Hogan collection that was rumored a couple months back?

I'd argue that the lack of talent in Hogan helped usher in the stagnation of the late eighties and that WCW brought back wrestling waaay before nWo got into it. Without the competition between the companies, there would have been no second coming period.

Shit, the Ultimate Warrior had madder skillz than Hogan did.

wewantflair 03-01-05 08:43 PM

Your argument would be wrong. What killed wrestling in the late 80's would be the lack of Hogan, as he wrestled less and his replacements (Ultimate Warrior, Sgt. Slaughter, Ric Flair, Undertaker) could not pull in anywhere near the level of business that Hogan did.

Guess who created the competition between the two companies? Hogan. WCW PPV buys were atrocious prior to his introduction in 1994. They immediately climbed, bringing WCW in direct head to head competition with the WWF in 1995 with the introduction of Nitro. Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Savage drew the highest quarter hour rating in WCW Nitro history. 1997 was a banner year for wrestling, with WCW (led by guess who) pulling in more money than any wrestling company in history up to that point.

Does Hogan have his flaws? Absolutely. For anyone to argue that Hogan is not the most important figure in wrestling in the past 20 years is just silly.

I saw the promo last night also, and thought they must have cleared up the legal problems.

But the web site HERE makes me think that WWE just said fuck it and put the promo on with the hope nothing will happen.

Anyway, I think Hulk be inducted is a good thing. Despite what he's done with the end of his career the man, with Vince's help of course, really did revolutionize the business and genre of sports-entertainment.

Maybe they fogot to update the site. Cause JR, King, and Stacey Keibler were outright saying the name "Hulk Hogan" before they always used to say "Hollywood Hogan"
