A Hellboy DVD Gift Set will include the 3-disc DC set, collectible packaging and a limited edition Sideshow Hellboy mini-bust.
Speaking of sideshow, I have this bad boy preordered:

I didn't get a chance to see this movie when it was released, and have been looking forward to the DVD release of this film. Can't wait.

Not really on par with Sony... At least the LOTR releases contain ALL NEW CONTENT each time... Sony puts out so many version ie.

Black Hawk Down
Black Hawk Down SE
Black Hawk Down Superbit

when really, they could have done it right the first time and could include DTS on nonsuperbit discs (heck, other studios do it)... Sony is the most notorious for double dipping...with very little extra content

Uhmmm.... it's a 3-disc set. Maybe you missed that info in the preceeding 3 pages

hahah sorry

I thought it was a 3 disc and then I read something in the link that the original poster posted,

(Judging by the artwork, and from snippets that we've heard (which probably isn't ideal grounds for theory), this set looks as if it will be a single DVD, with just the Director's Cut and miniscule extra features.)

which is why I asked

No problemo

I was at the Hellboy DVD panel at Comic-Con and Guillermo talked about the DC. One thing he mentioned was that there should be a lot of new content that isn't on the theatrical release. He's such a fan of movies himself that I'm sure he planned the DC that he himself would like to see as a fan.

I didn't want to buy the first one, but now I kinda want to get it. Curious about the directors cut.

I checked my bust and it doesn't have a number on the bottom and I don't recall getting a certificate of authenticity with it so who knows how many were made. I know I haven't seen one of the sets for ages.
