Where's "Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte"???

Surely someone besides me likes the classic Bette Davis thriller, "Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte?" Some great extras for a DVD would be available, too, including an AMC Back Story episode, vintage featurette, and maybe even a tour of the old house (Houmas House) where the movie was filmed, which is still on the Mississippi River near Baton Rogue. Anyone heard anything about a DVD of this movie?

Peace and Love,

Hermey the Elf

Definitely something I'd pick up - haven't heard a thing, but let's hope!

I loved that movie. The ending had one of the best pay-offs, didn't see it coming at all.

Another vote for a movie that scared me out of my mind when I first saw it as a kid. Today, I enjoy it for all the great golden age actors who gathered in the 60s to make a truly great horror flick

Bette Davis
Mary Astor
Oliva De Haviland
Joseph Cotton

and throw in a couple favorite supporting characters (Agnes Moorehead and Cecil Kelloway).

This needs to be on a DVD

I would love to have "Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte" as well as Olivia DeHaviland's "Lady in a Cage".... (co-starring James Caan in his first film)

They really should release it. One very scary film. When I think of "Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte", I always think another great Bette Davis film " What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? ". At least that's out on DVD. They would be a perfect double feature.

Lady in a Cage has been out for awhile. I bought it earlier this year with a gift card at Best Buy.

Oops, a thread from 2004. Nice to hear HHSC is comming out in August!

Not much in way of extras unfortunately.

Theatrical Teaser, Theatrical Trailer, 3 TV Spots.
