Other than Greed there weren't any "must haves" for me. Although, in fairness, there's about 5 or 6 that I haven't seen.

I always end up buying/renting just about all of the Warner classic DVDs... and I end up keeping more of them than I ever planned.

Voted for:

OPERATION CROSSBOW
KING SOLOMON'S MINES
IVANHOE
ICE STATION ZEBRA
GREED

Wow, a pretty underwhelming list of films. Considering their library and the classics that currently are not on DVD how they choose most of these is beyond me.

I voted for

Greed
Ice Station Zebra
I am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang
King Soloman's Mines
All Fall Down

I picked:

Greed
I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang
Ice Station Zebra
Dive Bomber
The Shoes of the Fisherman

I think The Letter would also be a good pick--a William Wyler film is always worth seeing.

Edge of the City and Party Girl are both richly deserving a nice DVD release.

Captain Of The Clouds is the only thing I'd be even remotely interested in....

How could they not have the classic John Ford / John Wayne western "Fort Apache" on the list? Warner owns the rights presently, so you think this would get the nod over Kansas City Bomber...

Please vote for RANDOM HARVEST. There are only two dvd's out right now with Greer Garson in them: Mrs. Miniver, and Goodbye Mr. Chips. She is fantastic!!

Voted for Greed just because it was requested by others. For me Ice Station Zebra was the only big must have

Greed needs all the votes it can get... I'm surprised that it's not on everyone's list.

Be advised that King Solomon's Mine is the 1950 version not the superior 1937 version

I'm gonna check out Operation Crossbow, before I place my vote. Sophia Loren + George Peppard + espionage sounds cool to me.

High on my list are THE SEARCH, great performance by Montgomery Clift and terrific movie, GREED, LUST FOR LIFE, and ALL FALL DOWN.
