She finds herself surrounded by numerous suspects and no one to trust. surprised that warner decided to go the unrated route knowing that they ususally don't release unrated dvds http://dvdmg.com/press/takinglives.jpg |
Interesting....is this film graphic at all? Possibly NC-17 worthy?
If so,then this is a step in the right direction for Warners. May be good news for Eyes Wide Shut,The Devils,Cruising,Performance..and anything else they have shyed away from releasing unrated/uncut. |
Guess not even Warner could resist pushing some extra Angelina Jolie nudity!
It will probably be a little more nudity and perhaps some more gore. There were a few scenes of Crime scenes that were pretty graphic.
Strange but my Blockbuster has Taking Lives up on their coming soon board as being released today.
Didn't catch this one in theatres. I'll be sure to watch the DVD.
Any unrated version of a DVD with Angelina Jolie in it is worth a buy.
Now if only HBO video, which is apart of Warners I am told released GIA uncut on dvd dammit! Funny that the unrated version regularly airs on cable, but is not on dvd!

Poor Angelina. She's becoming the queen of "unrated".
I enjoyed the picture...and more Angelina nudity is always a plus!
yea un-rated, (quagmire voice) hehe allllright! I like the cover too, but not a fan of her huge lips.

Hbo/Warner now needs to put of GIA unrated like they did on vhs.
amen to that one!
I wouldn't get my hopes up... looks to me like this unrated release has more to do with the poor box office takings for this film.
It looks like WB is not using the snapper case. Woohoo!!
There was an AICN advance review that raved about how the film paraded her wonderful tits around, but the theatrical film supposedly turned out quite coy about the nudity. So this might be one unrated edition that actually delivers on its salacious promises.
I really enjoyed this in theaters... I can see the Unrated version including more Angelina nudity (which is always welcome) and probably a more graphic ending.
Of course this is just my opinion... |
Anybody have a pointer to how the unrated cut differs from the 6-minute shorter theatrical release?
are there more boobs in this version or what?
i never saw the theatrical version but on the dvd they definitely show her boobies :)
and based on this older thread, im guessing thats what they added in. |
Originally posted by theneobez are there more boobs in this version or what? Sorry I can't confirm yet. |
Nope, same amount of boobs i remembered from the theatrical version. Maybe a second or two longer sex scene but thats all.
They did add: Spoiler:
agreed. The sex scene is identical to the one in theaters. Nothing new.
