Your collection is first rate, I would get rid of DVD's you just have not watched more than once. Really, that's what you bought them for in the first place.

Cheers

Any opinions on mine? (third line in sig) Please be sure to click "ordered", as I have been on the trade forum quite a bit and have quite a few coming (including ALL of X Files, finally).

Not a gonzo collection or anything, still under 400.

Am I missing anything that doesn't make sense? I, too, have always wondered people's opinions on this.

PLMK. Thanks everyone!

I appreciate that - but I could seriously watch anything I own any number of times - that's not an issue. I need to know what specific dvds I need to loose. (but I guess if I could watch any of them over-and-over, I really should loose any of them... so I geuss my question is, which ones do you think I should not watch again?)

My DVD-collecting life won't fully take off untill I finally go region free (As evident in my wish list)

But the question is, how do you view my current collection?

No one can tell you what not to watch, but one thing I did recently was get rid of DVD's of poor quality, ie lousy sound or transfer. One I got rid of recently, even though I love the movie was "The Deer Hunter". The DVD is so bad and becomes annoying to watch. You might want to use this method to weed out your collection.

Other than that, anything with Adam Sandler in it! Hah,Hah..

Cheers

I don't really want any of you to rate my collection since I love my collection no matter what other people think about it, but I am posting here to ask for some recommendations based on what I have.

If any of you could offer some recommendations in the following genres, it would be much appreciated:

Foreign (other than asian, but feel free to suggest any asian movies)
Film noir
Pre-1970's Classics (drama, mystery, suspense)

Thanks

One of my fav film noir is Mildred Pierce.
One of my fav asian is In The Mood For Love.
One of my fav Hitchcock's semi-noir is Shadow Of A Doubt.
Pre 70's classic, definitely The Adventures of Robin Hood.

Cheers

Dumb and Dumber, terminators, road trip,I Am Sam, Independence day,bad boys 2, batman,x-men .i see you like asian movies. My favorite asian horror is Ju-On aka The Grudge, make sure its the first one because the sequal is horrible.
