Indeed. Right on Mike I think that most French films are snobbish anyway and besides when you add up the fact that you have to have subs you lose about 80% of the viewing pleasure. I also have Brotherhood of the Wolf but I only watch the English version. Good thing they included the dub. The film was mediocre anyhow though....

OK, I'll shoot one right back at ya. Are their Czech films? (Just being filmed in Prague doesn't count) Or how about Polish films? Now German, yes...just got the new Das Boot mini-series.
Tell ya what, I'd watch a German film anytime over a French film. Let's just say there's some historical and current geo-political reasons for that. [/B]

I'll suggest some films but you either own or want 106/136 films I own so it makes it tough.
Anyway, my suggestions are:
Cube
Gattaca
Leon: The Professional
The Others
Pitch Black
SLC Punk
Signs
Unbreakable
Maybe some foreign films but I'm not the person to ask about them. Just getting into that 'genre' myself.

The M. Night films after (and before, for that matter) the Sixth Sense really don't do much for me. I do want to see "The Villiage," though.
And you're absolutely right - I need to own Leon: The Professional - I don't know why I haven't picked it up yet.

Be sure to check out The Others. If you liked The Sixth Sense you will probably enjoy this. It is a bit slow moving but it very atmospheric and intriguing. One of my favorite films to watch around Halloween. Having surround sound makes a couple scenes in this film a bit scarier.

2. Reservoir Dogs since you have Pulp Fiction
3 & 4. Lord of the Rings: TT and ROTK since you have FOTR
5. Unbreakable or Signs since you have The Sixth Sense
* Of course I am only commenting from what you have and I am not good at choosing titles for someone else other than myself.
Pretty solid collection so far, though.

But what I did skim through looked pretty eclectic.
Do you actually plan on keeping and watching every single one of those dvds? This is why I sold a lot of my dvds and kept what I wanted and I learned to only get something that I wanted to actually spend my money on.

and noticed it didn't say it was anamorphic, 16:9, or enhanced for widescreen tvs anywhere - I just assumed it was letterboxed.
And I also assumed that it wasn't packed with extras, since the only special features they list are "Special Features"

Rate my Collection... any essentials I'm missing?
Just curious what you guys/gals thought about My DVD Collection. I have most of the DVDs I want, except I do have a wish list there with some DVDs I've been meaning to get (once money allows).

Not counting Star Trek TNG & DS9, I probably have about 90% of the titles shown ...BUT..... you have almost nothing pre-1985. The bulk of the great movies made are being ignored. And you really should also start exploring some foreign films.
