Isn't it bizarre that the words: "The Two Towers" are visible on the booklet of Dawn of the Dead in the picture?

thanks! great looking set. I was hoping it wasn't going to be a digipak/panel fold out kind of packaging, but oh well what can you do

Wow, good catch.

Looks like this is still potentially a mock-up then. Although I assume the final art will be pretty darn close, if not identical.

I don't see it anywhere, maybe they removed it already. Gorgeous looking set though

Looking good.

I'm digging the menu art as well. Also glad that they were able to get Gaylen Ross to participate in this, since she's tried to distance herself from the whole thing till now.

Romero will be at DragonCon this year. As will many of us. I don't usually do the autograph thing, but this time I will.

Back OT: This set looks to be magnificent! I will certainly triple dip.

reminds me of the "Alien Quad" digipack and we all know how everyone loved that one! Either way, looks good, specially those menus. Glad I just sold my Dutch release.

How bout this just comes out tomorrow!!

the package looks great, but i don't like the menus, they seem to fit more with the remake and that Face in the menus really suck and feels out of place IMO.

Still i'll be getting this the second it comes out!

I agree, those menus look more consistent with the look-n-feel of the remake. But if that's the only thing that is "wrong" with this set, it will be wonderful! I especially like the stark cover art on the box. There's no "reviews", no one-liners, no "starring" tagline, and only 1 "big head"... but in this case, it is supposed to be there.

From Fangoria news and Anchor Bay:

Anchor Bay's Michael Felsher also shared some info on the company's other upcoming horror titles. "The DAWN OF THE DEAD boxed set [coming September 7] will include a mini-reproduction of the first issue of IDW's DAWN comic," Felsher tells Fango, "and a six-panel foldout containing a breakdown of all the features on the disc and a paragraph on each of the versions and their differences. And then, interwoven amongst all this information, are reproductions of the floor plans of the Monroeville Mall from when they filmed the movie. Also, all four DAWN cast members, along with George Romero, Tom Savini and, I believe, Sharon and Clayton Hill—the nurse zombie and the sweater-vest zombie—will be attending the Horrorfind convention August 13-15 in Hunt Valley, MD. All three DEAD movies, in fact, are having reunions there. We'll also have a table at the show, and will be sponsoring several screenings there. We're also releasing a single disc of DAY OF THE DEAD September 7. This is just the first DVD from the previous two-disc release; it is absolutely not a new version.

This is quite possibly the most comprehensive DVD ever.
We see plenty of 2-disc sets for one film, and seldom 3. But 4, for ONE movie?! Has that ever been done?

Well, it's not just one movie, and it's not like the other discs all contain extras. There's only one disc full of extras.

But is this the record for the most different cuts of a film in one package? I think it may be.
