LOL! Didn't she used to have these outfits which were jumpsuits that went down to and INCLUDED boots as a one-piece?

Cool. With this, Three's Company, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, and What's Happening, I can relive early 80's Saturday afternoon syndication! Now where is Small Wonder?

Ah, memories....

Jack Palance as Glowing-Hand Man...
Frank Gorshin much scarier than he was as the Riddler...
Julie Newmar managing to completely discombobulate Ardala...
Brain surgery on Kryten...
Odee-Ex, the blue-skinned midget who spoke in rhyme...
Ezer-haden, the most evil no-handed swordsman ever....

And the quotes:

"Kaleel! Kaleel! Kaleel!...."

"To reach the paw that frees the lock,
Conscious thought avails you nought."

...and of course...

"Off-think! Off-think! Off-think!..."

I am completely surprised as well that Buck only lasted for 1 & 1/2 seasons. I could have sworn it was for 3 (kid memory too).

Since that is the case, I would prefer they just package all the episodes together and release "The Complete Buck Rogers Set" or something like that. I would probably never buy the 1/2 season by itself but would not mind it if it is with the 1st season with a minimal price increase.

How did this thread not get updated??

Saw this advertised in Fangoria...

The complete series... all 32 episodes from the 1979-81 seasons plus the original theatrical film... yup.

Has anyone experienced an error on the discs? I have one on disc 2, side A, about 15 min into "Cosmic Whiz Kid," it freezes. No scratches, smudges, etc.; tried in 2 players.

Any thoughts?

Had problems w/Battlestar Galactica for several of us. (There's a thread about is somewhere, but it won't help much.) I believe it had something to do with a bad stack of DVD-14 discs.

My solution: exchange. Repeat as necessary. (It took 5 tries, IIRC.)

How's the quality? Is it as bad as BG?

I'm watching this on Sci-Fi channel right now... haven't seen Buck since I was a kid. I remember Erin G. giving me teh hot and just thinking the show was awesome in general. Watching it now though, it's so cheeseball bad. The episode I'm watching had like zero budget. They were in a parking garage that was supposed to be futuristic and some airport or mall that was supposed to be a space port or something. It's awful. Also, the bridge of this ship had stage lights with gels and those black flaps that were supposed to represent stars, but you could clearly see that they were stage light cans. Quite pitiful. If not for the futuristic bondage gear and occasional lesbo wrestling matches, this show wouldn't be worth a watch for me at all.

Gotta be one of the cheesiest sci fi shows ever! The only reason I used to watch it was because of Erin Gray (probably common). I can't see this series really having too much replay value though. I caught an episode this morning at 5:00 AM on cable and sure enough it was much worse than what I remember as a 12 yr old. The sets were really really bad.

It's Not bad at all, the show is still as great as it ever was... I guess some people just can't sit back and have a good time watching it. I sure did!!!

Didn't buck get all kinds of poon on that show though? I seem to remember this one chick who always wanted his hot sex, but she was evil or something. All those hot chicks wearing spandex bondage strip unitard/jumpsuits? I think Buck Rogers started the spandex split labial wedgie long before Baywatch trademarked it with those red one piece bathing suits.
