Leprechaun: Pot of Gore Set re-released but Fullscreen?!!

Well, I've been waiting for the re-release of this comedy horror dvd set and to my surprise it's only pan and scam. Come on! I want widescreen not fullscreen. Anyone know if they will release a widescreen set soon?

That is ridiculous. Why a boxset? Its not even like its one dvd its a whole boxset? Sad news.

They are not pan and scan, it will be open matte. 3 and 4 were made direct for video, so it more than likely full screen is its OAR. part 2 did come out widescreen on DVD, so it should be the same version. Only the first one should be 1:85 for that played theatrically.

Does anyone have this yet? If so are they all OAR? Or have they taken the cheap way out and did pan and scan? Also does anyone know the extra's that will be on these disks if any?

again fuollscreen/open matte presentation, not pan and scan. the last 2 (3 and 4) is more likely to be fullscreen is the OAR considering that these were made for direct to video!!!!

3 and 4 aren't the last two. There's a fifth, which is letterboxed on DVD, and a sixth on the way.

The currently available set contains fullscreen versions of 1, 3, and 4, while 2 and 5 are widescreen. When the 6th film (already completed) is released, they have indicated there will be a new box set with new extras.

Any word on a new release of this box set?

I'm also interested in when a re-release of this might be available. I was hoping I wouldn't have to eventually resort to amazon.com to buy this, I'd rather pick it up in the stores myself, but I'm never able to find it!
