Martin Lawrence TV Show.........EVER?!!

I posted a couple of weeks that the What's Happening show Season 1 is available. Scarface, coming out next month, Sanford & Son Season 3, October. What would totally make my day is if we will EVER see the Martin Lawrence TV show on DVD. I KNOW that if there are fans of the other TV shows that I mentioned (Sanford & Son, What's Happening, ETC...) there has to be fans of the old Martin Lawrence TV show!

Nope, sorry. No fans of the Martin Lawrence show.

I'm sure there are fans, but I'm sure not one of them. I haven't read anything about it being released anytime soon. Has anyone else heard anything?

I bet we'll see it eventually. It seems like they are releasing every TV show on DVD these days. You're waiting for Martin, I'm waiting for Seinfeld and Beavis and Butthead.

I too thought it was funny when I first started. I watched it every week. Over time I got to where I couldn't stand Martin Lawrence and I still can't to this day. He's just too annoying for me to find funny at all. The only thing I can stand him in is Bad Boys, I haven't seen Bad Boys II.

Don't listen to me though, I know there are plenty of shows and movies that I like and other people can't stand.

I liked it, too... I did a survey that asked about how "Martin" should be released on DVD (along with several other shows) just a few days ago. They wanted to know whether people are more likely to buy season sets or compilation discs with "Best Of..." episodes.

When will they learn? Does anyone actually like the "Best Of" versions? I would never buy shows released that way. I hate when the studio decides which shows I will like most. There may be some weak shows in any series but that is just a matter of a opinion. My favorite episode may be one that a majority of people didn't care for.

Just release complete seasons and be done with it!

The only best of compilation I may consider is the Time Life Beavis and Butthead collection. I don't want them and I have been holding off hoping they release a complete collection or season type sets. I want every episode of B&B and I am more than willing to pay for them. I just wish they'd also include the videos. Some of the funniest jokes were while they were making fun of the videos.

Time to bump this. Anyone have any new info? I have no idea what they are waiting for, I can promise you that season sets of Martin would be a HUGE seller.

I always found that show to be interminably annoying except for a few episodes (the episode where the thief tries to get into the apartment I recall as being hilarious). I actually liked Living Single a lot more --- which I believe was a spinoff show.
