any news on the "Matt Helm" series?

While I was thinking about closing out my night with a Flint flick, I picked up the latest review of the series in Video Watchdog. doing so reminded me of Dean Martin in the Matt Helm films....real fun stuff when I was a kid. "The Silencers" is something I'd like on dvd as well as the others. anyone heard any news on Helm coming to dvd?

Sony announced that the Matt Helm Lounge Set will be released on Aug. 2nd. It will contain all 4 films, i just hope the price is more reasonable than the $25 price they asked for The Silencers last year.

Despite already owning The Silencers (CH enrollment), I'll buy the upcoming Matt Helm set in a shot if:

1) The price is reasonable (along the lines of Sony's Gidget set); and
2) If all four films are OAR (unlike Sony's Gidget set)!

Just a quick update about this set as the release date was moved to August 30. MSRP is $39.95, Amazon has it for just under $30.

I'm just happy Sony hasn't outright cancelled this release... of course, I'd still like to see some confirmation that all four films will be presented in OAR.

Anyone confirm this yet? I'm seeing conflicting info online on whether this Matt Helm Lounge set is 4:3 or OAR.

I have this set and all the films are anamorphic widescreen.
I can't absolutely say that they are OAR, though.
