Multiple Disc Cases

I like the cases that some releases such as the complete series of Murder, She Wrote uses. But if they break...you're pretty much screwed, as it doesn't seem to be that easy finding the same clear, 6 disc cases out in the wild. You can find 6 disc black cases, but most of the time, they are either the thickness of the 2 disc Star Trek cases or are the normal 14mm size but the discs overlap.

Is there a question here? I don't see any question mark. Are you asking if we know where you can find clear 6 disc cases? And, if we don't know what type of cases "Murder, She Wrote" utilized then we still don't know what you're talking about.

In short, what are you after here?

Re: Multiple Disc Cases

Sorry about that. Murder she wrote used clear, normal 14mm thickness dvd cases. One disc is on the front, one disc is on the back, and then there are 2 trays in the middle with a disc on each side of each tray. The Real Ghostbusters complete series used these same kinds of cases. But I can never find them on their own anywhere. Is there a place to find them ? Aside from the getting them from austrailia, I mean ?

I believe you're talking about Viva One-Time cases. See my comments in http://forum.dvdtalk.com/dvd-talk-co...nge-cases.html , which also apply here. But I did make a recent discovery. Check out http://www.blankmedia.ca/DVD-CASE-BL...-Prodview.html which appears to be EXACTLY what you're describing...except that it's black. The company is Canadian, and Viva is Canadian, so I assume they have an inside contact. I haven't reached out to them yet, but want to get a complete list of their current Viva DVD case offerings (some photos are poor, and nothing is actually labeled "Viva") and what else they might be able to get. Buying 23 cases at a time is a lot, but $23.95 plus shipping isn't so much, and I'm sure the excess would sell briskly on EBay or in the DVD Exchange forum here. Hope that helps.

You're right. Except for being black, this is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for the tip. Wonder why you can't find these in clear....

Western Imperial Magnetics is another Canadian company which sells a similar product.
