The Simpsons Season 11 - Packaging Distaster!
 

I just got The Simpsons Season 11, my first one since I got Season 8 for Christmas 2006. Now what the hell were they thinking? It took me ages to find out where the discs were, and how to get them with out ripping the whole box. Not only that, but it scratched and marked all of the discs. Plus! Disc 2 was missing! It was brand new and sealed from HMV. I'm taking it back, but I don't know where to go from here. It's put me off of buying the rest of them, becuase the packaging design is so crap! But I want them. Humbug.

11 is much worse than 12 and 13. They added a smooth coating inside of the sleeves for those two seasons to help reduce scratching, and I believe made the discs a little easier to remove as well. If you can deal with owning 11, 12 and 13 get much better.

The packaging is complete shit for Season 11. I store the discs in other cases.

Plan on buying Futurama Vol 5? It's even worse. You'll either have to tear/bend the cardboard or rub your fingers all over the back of the discs.

The Brady Bunch complete set is just the same, with the discs stuck in paper sleeves. Not only that, there's glue that gets all over the edges of the discs.

Talk about cheap bastards. I hate that. I got season 11, too, but last year or the year before. It's best to keep the discs separate, but keep the case to keep uniformity in your bookcase.
