Hey a/v Junkie I just wanted to thank you for creating this thread and helping create the one over on Blu-ray.com. I've been a member of both sites for a while now and even though I don't post I do follow certain threads, like the slipcover ones, closely.

I really like how you are marking new and upcoming releases, that's really helpful. With 1900+ posts in Sharpy's thread and the fact that he only updates every couple of months that can make it hard for the casual collector like myself to keep up with things. And even though some people might not like it I hope you do take the pics from Sharpy's thread to save yourself some time. Thanks again man, have a good one.

You're welcome Lucky and thank you for those nice comments. Sharpy and I try our best to update the list over at blu-ray.com with the help of the other members. I figure I would bring the list over here to spread the slipcover love. I'll try my best to update this list daily and keep it top notch. For the pics, I want to get from the members here. I never got the the impression that anybody was offended by you starting a list, but rather it was your attitude towards posters who either provided info that was often challenged by you, or flatly ignored in your updates. Furthermore, you would repeatedly dismiss input from other users on how the list may be improved upon (exhibiting behavior that is against the forum rules) with zero concern on your part on what the users here would like to see.

There is no popularity contest here. Honestly I have never liked your attitude and you come off as elitist with the way you handled just about everything when it came to your list. The one at Blu-ray.com has been there for three years and that's because it's simple and it works. If something has worked that well for that long then why change things especially when your way of change was the product you put out in your "official" thread. If you had a way to improve upon things that would have been one thing but your way of doing things was for selfish reasons and not for the rest of the people on these forums.

You talked about all this vouching and posting of pictures business for proof like people are going to lie and say "hey this movie has a slipcover" when it doesn't just so it would be on the list incorrectly. You not having any direction with your list from the get go and first saying things like you wouldn't list slipcovers that are no longer being produced unnecessarily complicated things. If a blu-ray ever came with a slipcover I want to know about it so if I have that movie I can go find the slipcover for it! I don't want YOU deciding what should or should not be listed because it's no longer in production and YOU can't verify it exists. What it comes down to is you should have had some common sense and looked at the Blu-ray.com list instead of not listing what other members posted. If it is listed there and there is a pic of it then LIST IT. Simple enough!

Nobody ever attacked you they just warned you that you needed to change the way you were handling yourself and your list if you wanted to keep it going and you would go off and insult them... then say you were only kidding when you got called on it. If you handle yourself like this over something like a piece of shiny cardboard then I'd hate to see how you deal with real life. You made the list for your own personal reasons and in the end you got what you deserved and your thread is now locked. Bye bye!
