Keepcases with "arrow" hubs
I've been wondering this for ages, but just thought to ask now. Does anybody have a source for the keep cases (single and double) that use the 4-arrow hubs, like in the picture below?
http://www.mindspring.com/~taoberly/arrow-hub.jpg These may be the most common DVD packaging (excluding those #%*! eco boxes) in use anywhere, even more common than the better Amaray cases, and I don't recall ever seeing them for sale by a merchant. Thanks in advance! |
Re: Keepcases with "arrow" hubs
Replying to my own post. These cases are made by the Viva Group (http://www.viva-eco-box.com/dvdmulti_16discs.html). My breakthrough came when I recently bought a 2-DVD set in an Eco Box with these hubs, and with the name "Viva" printed inside. Coincidence that there's currently a Viva Elite thread for Blu Ray boxes.
The problem buying them seems to be that Viva doesn't sub-license their case designs, and typically only deal themselves with large manufacturing companies. If I can find a way to acquire small quantities, I will post a followup. If anybody has suggestions, I'm listening. :) |
Re: Keepcases with "arrow" hubs
Thanks for your post. I did not see a name inside the spine just patent pending.
