yeah, i wouldnt say we're definately getting a Watchmen steelbook, even if it turns out Black Freighter is one. its way, WAY, to early to speculate. hoping we do get one though 
with the J&R $6.99 First Look steelbook sale going on, i've got 5 (possibly 6) steelbooks coming my way. at 6.99 each, i dont mind adding them to my steelbook collection.

watchmen does seem like one of those big 'blockbuster' type movies i could imagine having a steelbook edition (ie fantastic four, hulk, ironman, batman.. etc)

the ones i have coming, i wouldn't mind seeing. if The Bonesnatcher was on sale for 6.99, i think i'd pass on that. looks like a big turd of a movie.
In Hell, The Breed, The Contract, Strays, Hard Cash and maybe Dead Girl are what i have coming...the only one i stretched on was Hard Cash, all of the others ive seen previews for and actually dont look too terrible.

Funimation informed us that the upcoming May re-release of the DBZ Movies 12 & 13 (which I don't think we've build on the site yet for pre-order) will have regular packaging and will NOT be a Steel Case box like the previous releases. They cited a 'supplier issue', but the reality is that the DBZ movie reissues are not selling well except in mass market and those customers probably don't care too much about how the movies are packaged, so Funi is going to save the money.

I noticed today on eBay that the Doctor Who series 4 Steelbook is going (and has sold) for about $100. I missed the pricing mix-up and initial sale, but I'm wondering if I should get it for the $83.99 in store before they completely disappear. I do love the show, but don't want to shell out that kind of money for one season. But I don't want the SB to slip away completely!
Anyone think this will go down in value? Is the in-store price the best deal right now?

About a month ago shyguy1083's post were surrounded with doubts and questions by other members in this thread

It seems that most Bestbuy stores sold out with this release. I guess after a long drought of "steelbook store exclusives" - the collectors quickly devoured it.

If it's not too late, try purchasing it online and selecting in store pick-up. That way it will be waiting for you behind the counter.
