Assuming this is true, and they only release a DVD SteelBook, I'd pick it up if only so it would match my DVD SteelBook for the first film. And I don't even buy non-TV show DVDs anymore.

It's just a shitty template. When the image that's on the front is spread out rather than wrapping around the edge where it opens/closes, that's what it would look like approximately.

Congrats to both of you. I've got X3 but had to settle for the BD version of Cars.
I just ordered the X-Men Trilogy on Blu-ray so I'll probably convert my SteelBooks into BD SteelBooks.

Best Buy US will be getting the Lord of the Rings BD Trilogy steelbook. Looks like it's the same thick black one that other places are getting (I'm sure it's been posted here before, but I forget where it's from). It'll be available as a FREE gift with pre-order ($5 deposit required, same as with MJ This Is It, Up, etc.) and should be available starting March 7th. Definitely looking forward to this one!

Got home from wal mart with Boondock Saints 2 and opened it up and it had a dent on the back, but you couldn't see it cause of the paper covering it. Kinda pisses me off.

The Walmart I stopped at earlier had 30-40 copies of the standard DVD, but absolutely no copies of the SteelBook in stock. Called another and it looks like they have some there so off I go in search of this damn SteelBook. I really only want it to match my DVD SteelBook for the first film.
