Heartbreak Kid slipcover???
 

Question..some dude on ebay is selling a boat load of Asian all region slipcovers and in his description he mentions "The Heartbreak Kid"...was there ever a Region 1 slipcover for "The Heartbreak Kid"??? I never saw one and i've looked (cuz it's actually prertty funny and a good one to own imo)... Here's the ebay link....

Hey "Limited Ed", do you still need the "Fletch Lives" lenticular? I can get one for you...i'm really starting to wonder whats going to become of my fairly extensive slipcover collection with the Blu Ray victory. When everyone starts converting to HD, do you think more Blu Ray discs will come with sc? Right now, the only ones i know of are the Disney / Buena Vista titles (Cars, Pirates, etc..)

The ones I saw at Target had slipcovers.

Melinda and Melinda has a slipcover now (Big Lots). Not sure if it was originally released with one or not.

Hey i just bought Across the Universe at BB and none of them had a slipcover :( is there anywhere i can get one or can someone give me one?

if it didnt have a slipsleeve and you wanted one, then why did you buy it??
why didnt you purchase somewhere else, rather than ending up in the position you are in now!?

i checked blockbuster, circuit city, walmart and a local videostore and none of them had it.

Absolutely...it's one of those nice embossed, matted ones (Like "Gone Baby, Gone")..if you need one, i can probably get an extra one....

I've only seen this at Walmart...is it an exclusive DVD release? Like the way Best Buy is the only place for "Sid and Nancy Special Edition".

Also, Walmart has "Revolver" with a SC (which looks like an awesome movie) which i've never seen them anywhere else.

I really want to find the Target exclusive A.T.U. which had the 2 disc plus a book inside a customized slipcover (like they did for Charlotte's Web).

Yeah, Target had SC for Southland Tales but no where else...I don't know why that is...why would some stores get different inventory than others for a general release.

i dont have any problem whatsoever! it was a perfectly normal and legitimate question why someone who wanted a movie with slipsleeve would purchase a copy without the desired slipcase!?
i am a slipsleeve addict myself so i feel with him for not having the slipcase, but if i am in a position where i know a movie is suppose to come with a slipcover, then i hold off buying until i eventually come across a copy with slipsleeve. i just didnt understand the logic of purchasing without and then wining about it afterworks and asking what to do. thats like purchasing a car without tires and then complaining about it afterwards :)
its not rocket science, you can always look on ebay and email seller for slipsleeve if you dont actually find it in stores. or post in this forum asking other users if they are willing to sell or trade.
dont see why you would write that i have a problem, when i was simply hinting that more common sense could help :)
