Crappy coverart moving to BluRay now?
 

I just happened to glace at DVD Actives list of upcoming BR discs in August. ALL but the DVD for Black Hawk Down have covers that arent' very impressive. Memento has two critic quotes on teh front for god's sake! :)

Have all the announced (and in HD-DVD's case, <i>released</i>) next-gen titles featured anything <i>but</i> the existing DVD artwork with the new banners? Almost all the ones I've seen so far <i>are </i> pretty bad, but most are simply re-hashes and nothing more.

Just like with it's competitors cases, the template doesn't really allow for cover art to look like anything more than some cheap novelty. "Experience High Definition" will be on the bottom of every cover and in a few years time seem pretty cheesy...if it already doesn't.
