12 Monkeys SE question

was this dvd ever released with a slipcover?? insertt??

thanks

Robert 11-13-05 12:57 PM

Calm down, noob. It never had a slipcover but the previous collectors edition had a sexy fold-out insert with chapter listings for the 80 minute doc and the movie itself.

thank you very much

I STILL don't know which version of these I need to get. Weren't there some with or without DTS?

There was a seperate DTS release that came out at the same time as the first SE. The sound is great on it, but the picture has never been great. The new SE that just same out is only a little better though. Not sure why they couldn't clean it up.

Yes, I own both DTS, and DD versions of this title. The video quality on the DTS DVD is inferior to the Dolby Digital in comparison, but the audio is better. The picture on the DD DVD, have a more sharper image in color, and clarity, while the DTS picture looks soft, and dull.

but no insert right??

thanks

No slipcase, but the new version was released in a gold keepcase.

The DTS version (Which contains no Special Features), and the Dolby Digital (Collector's Edition with Special Features included) that were released in 1999 have inserts, and I don't know about this new Special Edition. The majority of the new DVD releases, not all, (depending on the studio) are currently being manufactured without inserts.

This reply is totally unnecessary! Why do want to insult, and disrepect another forum member parent? You don't know if his mother is living, or deceased, but really it doesn't matter, and this remark should be considered as a personal attack. If I were a mod, you would immediately be barred. How would you feel if someone made a disparaging sexual innuendo comment like this about your mother? and if this was meant to be comical, it's strictly not.

Feel free, unlike other people I am not sensitive about my mother being a whore, I know it and you should too.
