That was me. I could throw together some labels to match. How many discs is your set going to work out at?

Actually, while it was a four cover set, they were for double thinpak cases, so it would work out to 8 dvds. I would imagine most of us who downloaded the amazing covers from before would like to see a set of 8 covers.

They are all done, except for disc 8 of course. I was trying to host them on Yahoo! but am having problems. They are in my photo album, but when I try to share it only gives me a lo-res image instead of the high quality ones. Any help?

You are clicking on the 'DOWNLOAD' button correct and just clicking on the thumbnail?

Are your episodes actually in Dolby Digital 5.1 or is that just there to look cool?

If possible, Id love a link to the original picture and/or the label without logos and episode info on it (a generic label I guess). I have about 11 episodes on the first disc...quality isnt great of course but then again Im pretty sure Ill be buying the DVD set when it comes out anyhow.

Nevermind I see you have a blank one on your site...awesome

Yep. Dolby Digital. Pulled from the HDTV source. Glad you found the blank. Enjoy.

Michael,

Your artwork and efforts are nothing short of brilliant. I do love the show likewise and have produced my own DVDs from the HR-HDTV caps. To find the artwork to go with it is stunning.

I downloaded from EasyNews the first 3 covers plus the picture of the 3D of the finished box set. Please where can I find the latest covers and also the disclabels? Also what type of blank shell for two discs did get to house the discs? Disclablels are just fantastic no problem with them, please finish them.

Thanks for your absolutely magnificent job.

Thanks for the compliments. I also did a majority of the Disney covers that are up on the newsgroup. I did all the ones with the original poster artwork on a brushed aluminum background, "classy" style. You have probably seen others with the studio artwork and those were butchered by some hack and uploaded, not by me. I personally think they look like shit and can't stand the fact that someone did that to my work. But that is a whole long other deal.

I keep a running thread of all my covers on this site, usually with "Corvin" in the title. So if you are looking for my stuff, searching the forum is the best route.

The link to my covers can be found in the first post in this thread.

Lastly, around here there is some respect held for the artists of these custom covers. We spend a lot of time, love and sometimes $$ to create them. They are intended for replacement of a studio cover. Bootlegs are a no-no. It is appreciated that they don't get posted on other sites or newsgroups as well.

Thanks, mc.

Thanks for the quick reply. I do appreciate people that do excellent work wether it is programming or artwork and I do reflect that with donations. E-Mail me and we'll talk.

I was a very frequent visitor at the khitomer.net site and it was the best collection of artists that I have ever come across. I still feel the hurt when they were forced to close down. What a collection of gifted artists as they displayed their creations and what dickheads Paramount has for executives. If they only realize that this is increasing their exposure and conversly means more sales for them. But then we deal with people that are coming from the area of Horse Buggy Whips and Whale Oil lamps, once thechnology wiped those products out it ment the end of their business. Hope they wake up in time.

NOTE:
Just looked at the discs and they just stunning. Disk 5 though needs a correction. The Outlaw episode is on disc 6 and the episode Special is missing from disc 5. Phew for a minute I thought I had to redo my motion menu.

One Final request. I read about the case itself you mentioned that it should be a double thinpak case. Is that the same as a Apr Double Dvd Slimline Case Click Here or is it the same as a Apr Double Dvd Case Black Click Here

Thanks again for your excellent work. In case you change your mind about e-mail send me a note and maybe I can express my appreciation.

I just looked, and they look right to me. They are in order according to tvtome.com.

RE: donations - I ask of no such thing. I do this for fun. The only thing I ask is for feedback, good or bad, it is all welcome. It helps improve design. The only other thing I ask is not to post my work on other sites, especially claiming it as your own. I know this is hard for some to resist just to get some credits from said site, but it is common decency and respect for someone who spent many hours designing it.

These are designed for a double thinpak pictured below. They are almost half the size of a standard dvd case.

Thanks again for the compliments. Did you check my Disney and South Park covers out?

Thanks for the reply and sure I accept your wishes. TVTome.com is also the site I use for TV Shows but they also did me in on the episodes notice number 112 is episode 13 and 113 is episode 14 and so on.

TV Tome Lost Episodes

13. 1-13 112 12-Jan-2005 Hearts and Minds
14. 1-14 113 19-Jan-2005 Special
15. 1-15 114 09-Feb-2005 Homecoming

You are missing Special from disk 5.

ABC Listing of Episode 14

13 = Hearts and Minds
14 = Special
15 = Homecoming

Sorry about this but you the episode SPECIAL is missing and OUTLAWS is twice on the discs.

This is another excellent site for certain episodes because it has the air dates of the different shows in different countries. GEOS Global Episode Opinion Survey

Have a nice relaxing weekend, I am off to do some serious DVD watching :-)

P.S. Your Covers are Correct it is the disc label for disc 5 that needs the change.

AHHH. That clears things up a bit. I kept opening and staring at the covers trying to see what you were seeing and thinking, WTF is that guy talking about.

I get to that tomorrow.

Michael,

The next episodes of Lost will not air until the 13th of April. Note this from the www.thefutoncritic.com whic is an excellent source for anything regarding TV shows:

http://www.thefutoncritic.com/cgi/go...wswire&id=6827

LOST (ABC) - The producers have confirmed ABC has ordered two additional episodes of the series beyond its previous order of 22 episodes. To date this season "Lost" currently averages 16.12 million viewers.

So it looks like you have some time before making a decision what to put on the 4th cover. Maybe something from the two additional ordered episodes.
