Any thoughts on making your own slipcases?

I searched fairly extensively and found nothing about this topic but I am tossing around the idea of making my own custom slipcase.

I am beginning to accumulate alot of home movies of my family, vacations, etc that I am currently storing in thin jewel cases. I want to eventually store them in slim keepcases but I want them to look neat and semi-professional.

I know some people like slipcases and some people hate them. I was curious if anyone has made their own and how did they do it. In theory you should be able to use a relatively thick piece of paper (maybe even thin cardboard). The only problem I can think of right now is feeding it through my inkjet (although it could be done in pieces and glued together).

Any ideas or suggestions?

I had slapped together a template for a slipcase a while back, I have never tried it, so I can't speak for its results.
