which paper is best for printing covers?
any ideas?
i've used regular glossy photo paper, but it seems to be too thick... can anyone recommend a thinner, glossy paper? (hopefully something that can be picked up locally such as at office max or depot). thanks... |

no sure what kind of printer you have, but i use canon high resolution paper. it's 24lb, really bright and has a decent sheen to it. around $10 for 100 sheets and can be found in most stores. if you want something a bit thicker, matte photo paper works well too.

feloosa, actually i have a canon printer too...where can i get that canon paper? the prices i've seen around here are like 20-25 sheets for 14.99 (approx).
what store has it so cheap? thanks.. |
a good paper at a good price is
Kodak Everyday Photo Paper. Glossy on one side only. |
I used to use the HP paper, but it wasn't exactly cheap.
I went over to the local Office Depot and they had a sale on the "store brand" glossy paper (44 lb). Buy 2 get 1 free. Excellent deal and I'm not complaining about the paper at all. |
I am cheap and use 'Royal Bright' 8.5 X 11" from my local Sam's store whare I picked up 150 sheet box for $13.00.. but I noticed the last time I was there the price was now $19.00 for the box.
