Upgrading my keepcase

A while back, I got a 3-disc keepcase from Inetdvd. The thing is, it was a full-width, 4- or 5-disc sized case, with hubs for only three discs.

My question is, is there a way to upgrade this case and insert new hubs to make this 3-disc case ready for 4 or 5 discs?

You could buy some Add-A-Page's from SleeveCity and attach them to the literature clips. Of course, that would only give you one extra disc holder and not two that you would need for a 5-Disc case. Also, they are a bit of a tight fit with Alpha cases. The other option is that you could detach the inner "page" of the triple and replace it with one that has two hubs instead of just one. They detach quite easily and snap back into three slots in the spine of the case. Of course, for this you would need to have some extra ones that have the two hubs. I don't know of anyone who sells just those, so you'd pretty much have to just buy 4 & 5-Disc cases unless you happen to have some old cases lying around (damaged?) that you could canabalize.

Just as I feared.

Have you tried the slim quads? They're the same size as a standard triple case. I bought a bunch from SleeveCity. Here's a pic if you're not sure what I mean:

One other thing that will work is if you bought some slim triples (same size as a standard single or slim double case) and used the "page" from that to attach to the literature clips of your triple case. You'd have to get the right kind, though. There are some slim triples that are designed like a standard slim double but have the extra 3rd hub where the booklet usually goes. The type I mean actually have a page that holds one disc on the front side and one on the back, leaving the literature area free and clear. If you picked up some of those you could remove the page and attach it onto the literature clips of your triple cases making an instant 5-Disc case. The drawback is that you probably wouldn't be able to fit a full sized booklet, only a chapter insert (and even then it might get torn up the more you flip the Add-A-Page). There's several people on Ebay selling them right now if you're interested. Just run a search for "slim triple dvd case" to pull up all the results. I went ahead and tried it myself using a 4-Disc Alpha and it worked great. All you have to do is cut off part of the plastic strip on the "page" where it blocks the literature clip from going into the cavity of the page arm, and you're all set. It's sounds like a lot of trouble, but it's actually incredibly simple and works great.
