I can't find this DVD anywhere, was one even made?

There's a place called Bijou Flix that sells a decent DVD-R of it on ebay, if you are talking about the 1960's Larry Buchanan film starring John Agar.

You can also pick up a Mystery Science Theater 3000 version of the film on DVD or VHS (way more entertaining than plain) here:

Attack of the Eye Creatures is from season 4, episode #418, it's $7 for a DVD-R

Lots of us prefer the uncut versions of the movies, which are often far funnier on their own rather than the sometimes extensively edited MST3K versions. I can make up my own jokes...
