DTS vs. SACD

I saw this posting and I was curious what the technical specs might be on a full bit DTS DVD vs. a SACD recording.

Thanks

The tech specs of a DTS DVD-A should be the same as a normal DVD-A. In terms of DVD-A vs. SACD, that's up to the consumer :)

IMO, they are both very good.

DTS is a lossy compression codec. It will most assuredly not be the same as a "normal DVD-A" and certainly not the same as a multi-channel SACD.

DTS is not only a lossy compression codec; It's also a company who releases music discs. Among them are standard DVD-A discs, with DTS as the MC option for people who want to experience it without having an actual DVD-A player.
