House panel OKs anti-smut DVD filtering
WASHINGTON (Hollywood Reporter) -- On a near party-line vote, the House Judiciary Committee Wednesday approved legislation that would exempt from legal liability companies that make products for filtering purportedly offensive content from motion pictures.
