Valuble dvd's
Im just wondering what dvds are the most valuable/rarest. Thanks
|
Salo Criterion. You're welcome.
|
I know all of the OOP criterions are worht a lot, but are there any non criterions worth a lot or rare. Thanks.
|
Jean de Florette and Manon of the Spring are cheap MGM disc's that now sell for well over 100.00 a pop.
|
Salo Criterion is correct, it is the most valuable DVD.
Of my collection, I highly value my Battle Royale tin. |
For a non-Criterion, I'd say Rabid Dogs is pretty valuable. Gut could explain better than myself :)
|
I have a Tool dvd set that i've seen on ebay go for $70+. I have seen the Karate Kid dvd fetch over $50, Splash before the rerelease used to go for $90 or so.
There is a Static X dvd that i've seen go over $100 before. Oh, and of course La Femme Nakita is apparently worth $600 to some people :hscratch: |

I liked when people were paying $150+ for the OOP collector's edition of Scarface...as though Universal would never release it ever again.

We can't forget Ed Wood SE dvd, although it looks like Disney is attemping another release, with two previous released failed, i wouldn't hold my breath.

Good Burger: Criterion Collection. ;)
|
Don't forget the international cut of Swamp Thing.
Thank a angry mom for making some collector picking this up quickly as soon it was going OOP. |

The valuable DVDs are the ones you enjoy watching the most.

Apparently the DVD of "Liquid Sky" goes for quite a bit. Glad I picked it up when it came out.
How much is Rabid Dogs going for? I have a copy and didn't even know it was rare. |

sports illustrated swimsuit collection 1995-1999 has gone for $70-100 on ebay.

Originally posted by Joe1086 How much is that DvD worth now? Ive seen the prices go as little $9 to as high as $40. I wouldn't think it could be worth more than 6-7 bucks since it is notorious for it horrid transfer. I had a copy of the first Collector's Edition, that I had paid around 15 bucks for it and never sold it, so when the Deluxe set came out, I gave it to a friend. |
nobody's gonna mention the recalled 'Little Shop of Horrors' disc?
Then let me be the first to say it: 'Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie'. Oh, and the full series of 'Eerie, Indiana' had such a limited release and is in such a state of limbo that the occassional real ones which do pop up sell for a ridiculous amount. |
Swamp Thing
