Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (BEST version to buy?)

Just wondering what is the best version to buy considering a couple things:

1. True UNCUT version?
2. OAR
3. Video Quality/Extras

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

According to DVD Compare's listing, go with the uncut UK special edition from Optimum.

4:3 is the OAR.

The Optimum includes a director's commentary as well as an interview, along with a discussion of the specific censorship problems in the UK. I just got this from amazon.uk where it is on sale:

Thanks for the help, I'll probably go with that.

The R1 version is hideous, I can tell you that much.

The UK disc is best (although the CE French disc has a few different bits and pieces, but it's expensive). That's a great price from Amazon.co.uk

UK disc here

MPI is supposedly doing a new version of the disc later in the year. At least thats what I've read from a couple of horror sites.

Are you sure? This did get a theatrical release; It was 1.85 when I first saw it...

A lot of indie/low budget films get reframed for theatrical showing, and what you saw in the theater was not OAR.

From the review linked elsewhere in this thread:

"Henry was shot on 16mm film and is presented here in the correct 4:3 ratio."
