Best DVD of 1st half 2004 (January to June)
I have done "Best of" polls for the first two quarters of 2004... so why not try a Best of 1st half 2004 poll?
There will be no write in votes this time around, since all choices are the top vote getters from the quarterly polls.
***REMEMBER - this poll is for the best DVD (i.e. audio quality, video quality, Special Features, etc.), NOT best movie released on DVD... although I guess the film quality does matter to some extent.
Here are the results for the Q1 vote:
1) Panic Room (SE) - 41 votes
2) Schindler's List - 22 votes
3) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Platinum) - 21 votes
4) Lost in Translation - 12 votes
5) Futurama - Vol. 3 - 11 votes
6) The Rules of the Game (Criterion) - 10 votes
7) The Commitments (CE) - 8 votes
8T) Curb Your Enthusiasm - Season One - 7 votes
8T) Dawn of the Dead (Divimax) - 7 votes
10) Chappelle Show: Complete First Season - 4 votes
Here are the results for the Q2 vote:
1) The Simpsons - The Complete Fourth Season - 34 votes
2) The Good the Bad and the Ugly (Special Edition) - 29 votes
3) Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King (2-disc) - 25 votes
4) Monster Legacy Collection - 20 votes
5) Freaks & Geeks – 13 votes
6) Kill Bill Vol. 1 – 8 votes
7T) Bubba Ho-Tep – 7 votes
7T) Mystic River (Special 3-Disc Edition) - 7 votes
9T) Master and Commander CE – 5 votes
9T) The Leopard CC – 5 votes

More people have had a chance to buy/watch some of the earlier releases, and their opinions could have changed significantly. If anything, those smileys in every post of yours do more to "liter" the board than anything.
