New DVD/CD Slimline case

Take a look at this new slimline case.

I found out about these over on the Other Talk Forum.

They look kind of cool.

I don't like that. do you push it in the case, and that ejector thing kicks it out?

Nice! Anything that's more compact is a boon in my estimation.

They're practical but not aesthetically pleasing. I got a box of them a while back. I gave them away with CDs I gave friends.

Ditto. I could care less about artwork or anything else for that matter. I'd rather have all my movies on a single disc or memory box.

I would note enjoy if dvd's where to come in these cases. I enjoy artwork (when its good). And it looks like it would shatter if you dropped it. And i dont relly see the point of the ejecktor thing, i can get my dvd's out of their cases easy enugh

I don't like them.

I actually got a few of these last year from someone at Office Depot as a sample and they are not bad. I wouldnt use them for DVD's but for CD's that I take to work or stuff like that they are nice. They eject real easy and go in just as easy. I like em and still use a few of em.

At this point with my collection, I'm always looking for some sort of space savings solution. Right now, I try to maximize shelf space. The slimline cases are an option, I have thought about for the past few years. These new ejectable slimline cases are interesting. But, with a huge collection, if I were to replace all my DVD cases with the slimline cases, it would be several hundred dollars. What always stopped me in the past is I can use this money to buy more DVD's.

these are cool to use when letting people borrow movies.

SHOCKINGLY LOUD music on the website = annoyance = No....

No thanks, not my style. I rather enjoy the artwork of the current dvd cases minus the snappers.

Prefer to keep what's on the shelf in semi-uniform packaging.

These are small but I don't see this as a viable use for DVD retailing. Artwork sells the discs, especially in a rental situation.
