Angel Question

Anyone know when the next season of Angel will be released? I think it will be season 4.

Adam Tyner 06-07-04 05:16 PM

September-ish, it looks like.

Josh-da-man 06-08-04 04:23 AM

September is a good bet, since it looks like Buffy Season Seven will be out in October, and Fox has been staggering the releases.

hnewhouse 06-08-04 06:23 AM

I'd guess August because Buffy and Angel are normally released about 3 months apart. Maybe even end of July. I think they're coming out faster now that their done filming new episodes.

matome 06-08-04 08:21 AM

If I remember correctly the little insert in Angel S3 just stated a Fall 2004 release. I think the previous sets as well as the Buffy's listed a specific month each time, so maybe they're keeping it flexible this time around.

Austin54 06-08-04 09:25 AM

It will be released around Sept 10th. If you want information on Angel, I would suggest you check saveangel.org.

It will be released around Sept 10th
I remember that Fox had that date on their release schedule, but that date is a Friday (DVD's 99.9% of the time come out on Tuesdays)... So if i was to guess I would say either September 7th or the 14th. I have also heard from Fox, that Roswell season 2 will come out the same day as Angel Season 4.... And if Angel does come out on September 7th that will be an expensive day: Alias Season 1 (Angel Season 2 and Alias Season 1 came out on the same day in September last year as well), Everwood season 1, Angel seaosn 4, and Roswell Season 2.

I Can't Wait!!!! Angel was easily one of the best shows on TV and season 4 is excellent... this can't come soon enough.

Love the show
Hate the artwork

I'm just happy to have a date for this one finally.

Love the show Hate the Cover ARt
I know, its the same picture of Charisma only turned around (and green isn't Angel's Color).

Rizor 06-25-04 12:14 AM

Guess it puts a cramp into the cover art designer's plans since Cordelia only appeared in one episode in season five.

RichardW 06-25-04 02:02 PM

I'm still working my through season 2.

I know who's going to be on the cover of season five: Captain Peroxide.

Lara Means 06-26-04 09:33 AM

Season 5 should be Fred and Angel on the cover.

Agreed.... Anyone who thinks SPIKE won't make the cover of season 5 is smoking crack... it's going to be an Angel/Spike cover for sure... maybe illyria too... and IMO, they should get Wesley on there...

Some actual actors on the commentaries? I'm shocked. I think this is the first actor on a Buffy or Angel commentary except for Seth Green. Am I right about this?

Unless you count Joss Whedon, David Fury, and Satan Noxon who all made appearances in episodes of Buffy and/or Angel. The Buffy Season 7 set also features several commentaries with cast members. James Marsters, Nicholas Brendon, Danny Strong, Tom Lenk, and D.B. Woodside all participated.
