Any news of a R1 release of Cypher?
I rented the R2 Japan release of this film from nicheFlix and it was excellent.
It has been released in both R2 (in several countries) and R4. Has anyone heard any news of a release in either R1 Canada or R1 US?
According to IMDB, Miramax owns the US Distribution rights.

I've been debating buying the crazy looking SE of this movie (don't remember which Region it was) but I don't want to shell out the extra $ for it hoping it will come out eventualy here. But I want to see the movie sooooooo bad, I'm in love with Lucy Liu. As far as I know, there are no plans to release it in the states.

It's also here in region 3, if you want to add that to your knowledge, although it's not full of extras (making-of, interviews, trailers and things). The SE you're Sessa's talking about is from Germany. Pretty nifty set, I saw it in Hong Kong. France also has an SE somewhere. If Miramax owns the rights, it won't be as good as the R2 versions.

The real question is, whether the R1 disc-art will be as good as the R2 Japan or not
I didn't think much of it when popping it into the player, but it's kinda neat when I noticed it after the movie was over.
