For one of the worst American Idols to ever hit the cutting floor, this guy has sure done his fair share of milking his "fame." I for one don't support this nonsense, though I'll gladly laugh at people who do!

I just don't get what's so special about this guy. There have been tons and tons of horrible singers in the auditions, why does he get a record deal?

I wonder how record execs approached Hung for their pitch... Either "We think you are special and your message and art should be shared" OR " William, you are so pathetic and you look like you have Down's syndrome but people have a fascination with freaks so we'll give ya xxx amount of money or 10% of all profits and we'll just milk it for all its worth".

he's got a deal, because I'm sure asians who live up to their stereotypes are mucho mucho funny.

He probably enjoys getting laid by beautiful women, so naturally he wants to milk his fame, among other things, for all it's worth.

Yes, because I'm sure if you were faced with the choice between taking $25,000 and going down in history (for a little bit, anyway) as a complete joke and taking more than $25,000 and going down in history as a joke, you'd go with option A. Right?

He's so bad it's funny, he was made for kareoke, not a cd or dvd. I enjoy and laugh watching or listening to him but in a comical way. There is no way I would pay even a penny for it though.

well im just saying, there were a ton of really horrible performances on the american idol tryouts, and Hung living up to the stereotypes of asians is the only reason why the guy stood out. I feel bad for the guy, I'm not saying he probably doesn't know why he got chosen, just that I feel bad for him overall.

I am convinced he as been a market ploy since day one. Think about it, he is probably the worst singer to appear on the show. There was no way he would have made the TV show unless someone realized hey, he is so awful, that people will like him. lets put him on, have him say those famous words to Simon, have the internet buzzing about him, put him on talk show circuit, release a CD, bam, he is a marketing hit!
