As I am finding out with the season finale of Xena, once it's gone it's gone and you will only be able to get it in the final season box set or pay thru the cheeks on Ebay.

Why am I in a Friends thread?

Does anybody know if the 1 hour clipfest that preceded the actual Final episode is included on the disc or is it just the 2 versions of the final and the original pilot? Thanks for help.

Finale Broadcast Version
Finale Extended Version
Pilot Episode
"Ill Be There For You" Music Video
All 10 Years of the opening theme clips

I thought there was suppose to be some other music video on there, maybe I am just missing the obvious, but I can't find it on there.

The extended version is much better... just made up for some of the questions I had during the airing like "Why are not Chandler and Monica reacting to this?"

Also, upon second viewing of either one I noticed Monica indeed had a baby monitor with her when she left the twins. Still though, still shouldnt leave them I'd think.

I might be deft, but what does that mean exactly? Is that the 1 hour clipfest that was on last Thursday? Thanks for the quick post!

Doesn't sound like the one-hour clip show is included on the DVD, which is a bummer. That was a nicely done retrospective, and in some ways I enjoyed it more than the finale itself.

I think what they mean by the "opening theme clips" is the opening for the show, each of the 10 years - when they're dancing around the fountain with the umbrellas. I guess they changed it each year.

The opening theme clips is just that - the dancing around the fountain bit.

But they had two different versions every year except the 10th, so according to my calculations:

There's 19 different opening titles over the 10 seasons!!!

No... all 10 years of opening sequences. As in the title themes for each season. The hour long clip show is not on the disc.

There are about 3 or 4 extra minutes, and they make the episode better.

I'm not sure where you get $14.99 for the BestBuy price...I went today to pick up a copy for someone and it was priced at $6.99.

Anyway, it includes the Broadcast and Extended Version of the Finale, as well as the series Pilot, 10 years of beginning bonus, and the music video for "I'll Be There For You." The quality is superb!

Although, I do not think I will get a copy for myself, because I am sure everything on there will be on Season 10 collection.

Speaking of the next seasons, when are Seasons 8-10 scheduled to be released?

From their weekly ad. They must have heard about Circuit City's price.

No date yet for season 8, unfortunately.

Word must be getting out about CC. I noticed that DDD lowered their price too.

I went to Circuit City to get it and it was sold out.

I took their ad and went to WalMart. For some reason I was thinking they had it for $9.99, and I was going to have to get a price match. But nope, their price was $7.96.

Best Buy was just stoopid advertising this at $14.99. Best Buy? Hardly.

I found it odd that the UPC didn't come up when I went to put it in my DVD Profiler. First one I got that didn't show up.

My Best buy had the yellow tag that sits on the stack of them at 14.99 but the actual sticker on each DVD was 9.99. They rung it up at the cash register..14.99...adjusted the price to 9.99.

Sounds like Best Buy tried a last-minute save-their-butts maneuver.

Bah.

Day late and a dollar short. I am actually kind of glad I gave my money to CC this time, even though I lost a buck.

I follow my wallet whenever I can, but I would always prefer to buy somewhere other then BB, if I can (even if a buck is lost).

I care about the openings. Its fun to watch them and see the changes.

I'm just a tad upset that they didn't include all of them. its like they just picked one from each season and used it to get one per season.

I really would have loved to be able to watch the opening for the episode where everything is changed. Such as what if ross didn't get divorced from carol. What if phobe was a would have taken that job on wall street, etc.

It was really a fun opening.

Not really. They seemed to change each opening about 2/3 of the way into each season. It would then carry over into the beginning of the next year. There were a few one-off changes like the episode described above and the England episode, and the credits were altered in the Season 6 opener to poke fun at Courtney Cox's new extended married name (everyone had Arquette added to the end of their name). The openers that are included on the DVD seem to be from the first episode of each season.
