Disc-Go-Round going out of business sale. They priced all their DVDs for $5.00. Picked up The Contender, Planet of the Apes 2-disc (Tim Burton), The Contendor, Ghost Busters, Final Fantasy 2-disc, and about 3 or 4 others I can't remember.

The guy who worked at the checkout counter actually priced up Final Fantasy and PotA at $10 bucks a piece. He said since there were two disc for each film it would cost double. I gave him the, "you're an idiot." stare and he said, "ok, you want me to price it for $5.00 bucks a piece. Fine!"

That must have been the most obvious and pathetic attempt at fraud I've ever witnessed.

That and the cameraworld.com $25 off $25 coupon where I got a couple of free DVDs back around 1998 or 1999. That's all I can think of at the moment.

I forgot how much I had paid for it, but a few years ago, buy.com had a rather big misprice on the deluxe Oliver Stone set.

The Suncoast screw up last summe (2 for $32)r. Oh, that was a good day. Let's see: Almost Famous Director's Cut, The Godfather Collection, The Sopranos Seasons 1, 2, 3, all for a little over $50 shipped. I almost felt bad about that one, almost. I've been in on a number of great deals, but getting all three seasons of The Sopranos for $16 has to take the cake.

The old combination of the Brands For Less $25 rebate with free shipping and 40% off pre-orders from Reel.com while also using coupons. Averaged 3 DVDs for $25 for quite a few months that way.

Probably all the free DVDs I got back in the day with sites like Freeride.com. I'd average at least 2 free DVDs per week. Oh how I miss those good old days.

The next best would be that killer Columbiahouse deal back a year or so ago with, I think it was, 5 DVDs for 4.99 each with free shipping and no further obligation. I placed three or four orders.

Yeah. Very much the free DVDs I got from various contests, GC earning websites and test drives. The most effortless was probably the generous coupons like buy.com's $20 off $20 in the good ol' days.

Probably...

Band of Brothers (should have gotten the Sopranos) for $16.00 from Suncoast (online error that everyone seemed to beneift from)

Meet Joe Black UE (Sealed) for 18 shipped on ebay just recently
*Had received two other copies (not sealed) of the same film months ago for 9 bucks and 14 respectively.

Sixteen Candles (back when it was OOP) for 14 or 15 bucks at an FYE that still had it.

CSI Season 1 & 2 for under $15 a piece from Columbia House.

Ultimate Toy Box from FYE that I was never charged for. I even emailed them (to keep it honest) twice and still, not one charge!

Excluding the obvious CH deals,

Dick Van Dyke First Season for $19.99 (Amazon mis-price).
Friends Season 1-6 under $20 each from Best Buy.
Criterion Hitchcock Box Set for about $80 from overstock.com

There are more I'm sure.
