Does anyone have any info on Puppet Master: The Legacy dvd?

I found one of these at a used store today and can't find much info on it. It looks like it was put out by Shadow Entertainment (formerly Full Moon) sometime last year. It doesn't seem to be available on-line and I couldn't find any on Ebay either. Is this out of print or something? Any info is appreciated.

Pick that up and pick it up quick if it's a good price.

It's worth a couple hundred now. Some even get $300. Most result in $200-$250.

It's OOP. Almost the entire collection (Paramount owns all the early ones still) was put to DVD in error by another studio. Paramount threatened a lawsuit if they didnt take it off the market. So, it was taken off the market pretty quickly.

Here are a few auction examples of the prices it went for in the last couple weeks.

I think he means the Puppet Master: Legacy movie... its only a single disc. It was someones attempt to make a best of or something type of film. It just has clips from all the past films with very little new footage.

I have seen it at BBV but never rented it.

Sounds like it is time to sell another unopened box set of mine. I always regret returning the extra copy I had.

Well this is news to me... I'm a big Puppet Master fan, but never bought the boxset because it was too expensive and I was waiting for the price to come down. Now it's been pulled due to legal reasons? Any word on when it might be re-released??

I'm not sure if this will ever be re-released would be nice though.

I forgot the reason for the pull, was it because of the rights of all the movies/distribution?

It's because paramount owns all of fullmoons back catalog. Paramounts rights to the films is supposed to end sometime in 2004. But there has been no word of a re release. I think parmount must have found a loophole to own them forever. Full moon went backrupt I belive 2 years ago and now are under shadow entertainment with the same owner.
